Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you;

Jesus’s incarnation at its heart was a missional act by God to reach out to mankind, and so missions is at the heart of FBCH as well. We exist to serve and expand the kingdom of God, and so we GO to proclaim the gospel, make disciples of Jesus Christ, and teach people about God and His Word.
FBCH is focused on missions through financial support to our related associations and seasonal missions efforts (such as Lottie Moon, Alma Hunt, and others). We also seek to engage the lost world through local missions efforts, and we travel both out-of-state and out-of-country on short-term mission trips to bolster embedded missions efforts in those locations. We know God can and does use our efforts to bless others, but the blessing we receive from reaching out to others always seems to be even greater!
